I have been helping out my friends company recently with their website, Enchanted Kidz. The website? Princess dresses and princess shoes.
If you want to know if your little girl will like these dresses take your cue from my 4 year old.
Every single time I pull up the website, I hear “Mommy, I want that one, Mommy I want that one and I want that one”.
“Mommy I need those”.
Seriously, every, single, time.

Now I just have to narrow down a dress to get her for Christmas. Why do kids like to dress up so much? I don’t know, when I was kid my grandmothers had a neighbor 2 doors down. Her name was Caroline. And Caroline had a dress up trunk. She had costumes from the 1800′s, she had everything. And every time we went to Grandma’s house we begged to walk over to Carolines (sure bet that made Grandma feel better). That trunk was so magical because we didn’t have anything like it in our little apartment.
Can you guess what I have in my basement at this very moment? A dress up trunk! Yep, it’s got old Halloween costumes in it, firefighter hats, swords, mexican wrestler masks and more. It’s a little kids’ dream. Or is it my dream (cue serious psychology music here).

Discount Mags does it again! I love Family Circle Magazine. When I was a kid we didn’t have magazines in our house, frequent moves and low finances didn’t allow it. So when I went over to people’s homes who had magazines, I felt like I was in hog heaven. You’d see all the kids running around and me on the couch with a stack of magazines piled around me.
Family Circle was one of my favorites. My grandma would get them and I would read them every summer. Maybe that is what made the homemaker life attractive to me.
