Kroger Deals Week Ending Saturday Sept 1

Here are some good deals I found at Kroger this week:

Sour Cream 10 for $10 (It hasn’t been at this price for a while buy enough to last you two months, you can store it upside down in the back of the fridge indefinitely (or so)

Parmesan $2.19 (regular price for months)beats Aldi’s price by ten cents

Cabbage $.57 a pound

Baby Carrots 16oz  $.99 (yes bought 4 bags)

Eggplant 10 for $10

Allen’s Canned Vegetables 50% off, final price .57 (Corn at Aldi is .55 so this is pretty good for Kroger).

Smithfield Bacon $3.99

Sliced Porkchops $3.99 (be careful the Breakfast chops in the meat case next to them look exactly the same but are $1.00 per pound more expensive)

Laura’s Organic Beef $4.39 (not the best price on Meat but I am not planning on any Sam’s runs or to the grass fed processor this week)

Krogers Tortilla Chips, 10oz,  10 for $10

Lays Chips 2 for $4.00

Butter (my favorite food EVAH) $2.28 (yes I bought 4 more pounds even though I already have 6 lbs at home already)

Hormel Natural Deli Meats 8oz $3.49

Popcorn $1.69 for a pound (I much prefer Harry’s organic popcorn in bulk-it cooks more evenly-but I am not going there anytime soon) I know, I don’t buy microwave popcorn, but I don’t have a microwave and yes I am American.

Kroger Frozen Vegetables 12oz (they are so tricky aren’t they?-lowering the weight from 16oz to 12oz last year but charging us the same prices) 10 for $10

And that was my Kroger excitement for the day.
