I love Mary Janes. Really.I think I have loved Mary Janes since I was kid. Maybe it is the innocence of a Mary Jane that attracts me. You look at pictures from the early 20th century and little girls with pigtails and swirly gingham dresses with freshly scrubbed cheeks seemed to go hand and foot with Mary Janes. My mom used to call herself a hopeless Pollyanna.
Whatever the case. I love them. And I would say 80% of my shoes through the years have been Mary Jane shoes. Really.
However it can be hard to find a cute one that feminine, not too clunky but not too sleek. I am nearly 40. So I need something that is cute but not old lady looking. You know what I mean billy jean?
Here is this week’s Mary Janes. It is from 6pm. And it is red! I love red shoes! PS I know its Friday but I couldn’t wait until Tuesday to tell you.
