PUBLIX QUICK FACTS

• Publix offer a ‘Penny Item’ the first day of the news sales ad which is typically Thursday, buy $10 worth of grocery BEFORE COUPONS and get the penny item. There is a coupon in the flyer or ask at the Customer Service desk upon entry if you can’t find it. However even then most cashiers know the code automatically and will just enter it at checkout.

•  Unless you live in Florida, the buy one get one free deals ring up half price, so you don’t have to buy 2 items to get the savings. In Florida they ring full price minus one cent for the first one and one cent for the second item.

• Publix Sale ends Wednesday evening.

• Most Georgia Publix stores double coupons .50 cents and under, unless coupon states directly Do Not Double. However, even then unless it starts with 9 the coupon more than likely will double (unless your cashier is super aware and is out to get you because she hates couponers and their mighty savings).
